About Treatacross

Why this site

Every year many people travel for a hair transplant, dental implants or weight-loss surgery. When they search, most of what they find is written by clinics, or by agencies paid for each patient they send. Very little tells them how to check a clinic themselves, what the trip really costs, or what happens when they are home.

Treatacross does that, and only that. It is the third site of a small independent family, after uniacross (studying abroad) and retireacross (retiring abroad), built on the same rule: every fact sourced and dated.

What we promise

• No clinic money. No commissions, no paid listings, no "partner clinics", no affiliate links to clinics or agencies.
• No ranking, no recommendation. We show you how to check a clinic and a surgeon; we never tell you which one to choose.
• Official sources first. Health ministries and their registers, health services, professional regulators and surgeons' societies. Clinic websites are never a source. How we check.
• Risks next to everything else. Every treatment page says what can go wrong, as health services describe it.
• No health data. The tools run in your browser. We never store photos, weight, medical history or medicines.

What we are not

Treatacross is not a clinic, a booking service or a doctor. It is general information, not medical advice. Whether a treatment is right for you is a decision to take with a doctor or dentist who has examined you.
