1. The service

Treatacross (treatacross.com) provides free general information and planning tools for people considering planned treatment abroad (hair transplants, dental work, weight-loss surgery), and, later, an optional free account. It is an independent project based in the United Arab Emirates.

2. Information, not advice or guarantees

We research and source our information carefully and mark how each fact was checked (official, secondary, to verify). Treatacross is an independent planning aid, not an official source and not legal, tax, immigration, financial or medical advice: rules, income thresholds, taxes, fees and procedures change, sometimes at short notice, and our information can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always confirm with the official authority (immigration office, consulate, tax administration, health system) or a licensed advisor before acting.

Nothing on Treatacross is medical advice. It does not replace a consultation with a doctor or dentist who has examined you. We do not recommend, rank or endorse any clinic, doctor or agency, and a completed checklist does not mean that a clinic is safe. Cost calculations use the figures you enter and are estimates; flight times are estimates.

Some pages link to partners (for example health insurance or money transfer). These links are labelled, partners never influence our country scores, and any contract you sign is between you and the partner.

To the extent permitted by law, Treatacross and its publisher accept no responsibility for the outcome of any treatment, a complication, an uninsured cost, a fee, or any decision taken on the basis of the site, its tools, its account features or its emails. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

3. Your account

Creating and using an account requires accepting these terms and the privacy policy, including the storage of what you save (never health information); we ask for this when you sign up and again when these documents change. You must be an adult, give a valid email address, and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for the information you enter; You can delete your account at any time from "My account".

4. Acceptable use

No automated scraping, no attempts to access other users' data, no abuse of the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Intellectual property

Texts and tools are protected. You may quote short extracts with a link to the source page.

6. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version number changes and important changes are announced. These terms are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
