Doctors

Czech Medical Chamber: list of doctors (Seznam lékařů)

Search by surname, first name and specialisation. The chamber publishes its members' list under the law on the medical chambers (Act 220/1991, section 6a).

Dentists

Czech Dental Chamber: list of members

Search a dentist by name, or browse alphabetically; visiting dentists are on a separate list.

Doctors and dentists: Search the surgeon in the Medical Chamber's list (with the specialisation) and the dentist in the Dental Chamber's list.

Rules worth knowing

  • Doctors and dentists practising in Czechia must be members of their chamber, whose lists are public: a name that is not there is a warning sign.
  • As an EU country, it applies EU rules on patients' rights in cross-border healthcare: residents of another EU country can claim refunds only for care their own health system would pay for.
